Type 2301 – Pneumatically operated 2-way Globe Control Valve
In line with Bürkert’s philosophy, the Type 2301 globe valve is engineered to meet the demanding requirements of process environments. Its proven self-adjusting spindle packing with replaceable V-seals ensures unmatched cycle life and sealing integrity. The globe valve body can accommodate up to five trim set sizes, with parabolic trims that provide reliable and repeatable flow characteristics. The control cones are available in stainless steel, durable PTFE seals, or PEEK seals for tight shut-off, with leakage classes III, IV, or VI options. Type 2103 – 2/2-way diaphragm valve with pneumatic stainless steel actuator (Type ELEMENT) for decentralised automation
The externally controlled Type 2103 diaphragm valve features a pneumatically operated piston actuator, a diaphragm, and a 2-way valve body. Its robust actuator, made with a stainless steel housing, ensures reliability in hygienic or aggressive environments. The flow-efficient valve bodies, designed with minimal dead space, support high flow rates and offer a wide range of applications. Both the valve body and diaphragm are available in various materials and configurations to suit specific needs. The actuator boasts a compact, autoclavable design with a large stainless steel housing and gap-free seals. Integration with ELEMENT automation units is possible at all configuration levels, including retrofitting, and a fieldbus interface can also be added. An explosion-proof ATEX/IECEx version is available. This compact, smooth-surfaced, and highly integrated system combines a valve and automation unit with built-in pilot air ducts (no intake of ambient air). The add-on body comes in plastic or stainless steel, with a 360° rotatable option. The valve offers IP65/67 and NEMA Type 4X protection, along with excellent chemical resistance.

Type 8692 – Digital electropneumatic positioner for integrated mounting on process control valves
The compact Type 8692 positioner is specifically optimized for integrated mounting on pneumatic actuators within the Type 23xx/2103 process valve series, designed to meet the stringent requirements of hygienic process environments. The pilot air duct is seamlessly integrated into the actuator, eliminating the need for external piping. User-friendly operation and the selection of additional software functions can be done through a large, backlit graphic display with a keypad or via the COMMUNICATOR. The positioner utilizes a contact-free, analog position sensor to accurately register valve positions without any degradation. Integrated diagnostic functions continuously monitor valve performance, and diagnostic messages are provided through status signals in compliance with NE107 (NAMUR), with historical data logging. The housing is easy to clean and constructed from durable, chemically resistant materials, making it ideal for hygienic applications in the food, beverage, and pharmaceutical industries. When combined with Bürkert ELEMENT actuators, the pneumatic actuating system ensures spring chamber aeration, preventing actuator contamination from the environment.
